Higher Education Commission HEC has chose to mention earmarked seats in the fields of medical and engineering for the students of Balochistan and FATA on open advantage and self-financial foundation.
It was determined during a special achieving held here at HEC Islamabad. The achieving was presided over by Executive Director HEC Prof. Dr. Sohail H. Naqvi and attended by Sher Khan Bazai Assistant Higher Education Balochistan, Prof. Dr. Riaz Hussain Qureshi Consultant HRD HEC, Muhammad Asif Khan Chief Education, P&D Balochistan and Aurangzeb, representative from FATA Secretariat.

Selection Procedure
Selection shall be made strictly on merit determined by:
- PIEAS Admission Test: 60%
- Matriculation: 15%
- F.Sc. or F.Sc. (Part I): 25%
- O Level / A Level: 40% of O-Level equivalence from IBCC
- Admission test shall be conducted in major cities of Pakistan.
Scholarship of PIEAS
If you are an foreign student, designated as an abroad fee payer, you may be qualified for one of the School of Science and Technology’s Foreign Science grant chances.
- Each applicant is eligible for only one award.
- Only self-funded students are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
- Successful scholarship applicants will be informed after the closing dates.
Eligibility
- Minimum 60% marks in both Matriculation / O Level (Science) and F.Sc. / A Level (Pre-Engineering)
- Students awaiting their final result, but expecting to secure required percentage of marks may also apply
Application Form Submission
- Preferably utilize online; application forms are offered at PIEAS website. For online submitter, digesting fee is Rs. 750 only.
Application forms may be saved (Microsoft Word Record, 97KB) from PIEAS website or can be provided from Registrar, PIEAS, by giving a self-resolved envelope keeping companies press of Rs. 30. Passport size picture and attested copies of Matriculation/O Level and F. Sc. or F. Sc. (Part I)/A Level must be provided to Registrar by post just before the contract. PIEAS Program Guideline can be provided from Registrar by spending a fee of Rs. 400 (inclusive postal charges) in the PIEAS online levels.
